[SOLVED] What would be better between a 5400rpm cmr vs a 7200rpm smr

looking to buy a new drive and i am paranoid about getting a smr drive from what i have read i want to avoid smr as much as possible but i might have to go with it. I'd mainly use the drive for creative programs 3d rendering etc.

If it is an OS drive and you cannot afford an SSD, go with a 7200rpm CMR drive (like the Iron Wolf). If for storage, the simple thing to do is buy an Iron Wolf as none are SMR.
