Question What would be the Best CPU to Pair with my 6950XT

Hi All,

I'm looking for a new CPU to pair with my 6950XT, I currently have a 3700X with my 6950XT, but I don't want to be bottlenecked by it anymore.

I'm trying to decide if I should get a 5800X3D, 5900X, or a 5950X.

I mostly game at 1440p 165 FPS on my Gaming Monitor, and occasionally 4K 60 FPS on my Big TV when I have Guests, usually on High or Ultra Graphics Settings depending on the game. Sometimes with Ray Tracing Turned on, also depending on the game at 1440p 60FPS.

Any help on deciding on which CPU I Should get would be great thanks.

If it's gaming, then the 5800X3D will be a good purchase. Speaking of purchase, what motherboard are you working with and what BIOS version are you on for said motherboard?

Motherboard: MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI (MS-7C95)

I don't remember which BIOS version but I did update it recently so I could take advantage of AMD's Smart Access Memory.
