. I live in a poor country, so the dolar prices are kind of expensive here.

. My system hasn't changed in about a year, and i'm not cool with that. xD

. For 60fps 1080p gaming:
.It's worth to upgrade?
.What should i upgrade?

Thanks in advance.

+3 on an SSD.

Upgrading to an Ivy i5 isn't worth the cost, and Haswell in half a year would be a better option.

Getting an aftermarket cooler is somewhat useless since you cant overclock. And if you follow my advice above what you get may not be compatible with the LGA1150 (Haswell) socket when it comes out.

I would also hold off on a new GPU as well. What you have is still quite good, All the Kepler GPU's of note are already out and the AMD HD8XXX will be releasing sometime around new year. If leaked spec sheets are correct, they will be very affordable at launch, and will perform significantly better than the current HD7XXX series.

Maybe a better monitor if it isn't already 1080p (or if it is, get a 120Hz). Or do some aesthetic upgrades, get some LED fans and lighting in there.

Better coolers are always nice, but unless it's a typo, he has an i5-2500, so OCing will be minimal.

SSDs are nice for quick boots and faster loading times but won't affect your fps. I'd still put in an SSD though.

But otherwise, the system looks like it should handle 1080p very well. Is there some reason you feel you need to upgrade other than 'nothing has changed for a year'? That's the value of building a powerful well-balanced system - you don't need to upgrade it every year.

Well i didnt notice that the 'k' missing after i5-2500. My bad.

But ssd will not help for 60fps @ 1080p gaming. But he can buy it for better boot time and game loading time. And buy a gpu year later.

@mubin No disrespect intended my friend. I figured you saw a k there - I started my own post with "Aftermarket cooler and OC depending on motherboard" before I realized it wasn't a k and then I read your post :) I just wanted to make sure guidodogg understood.

@guidodogg I think we're all in agreement, your system looks great for the purpose you mentioned, adding an SSD won't affect your fps but is probably the best way to complete that system.

Thanks so much for the replies. The system hasn't change because i didn't
come up with something to add it for, and feel like hear opinions. That's about it.

About SSD: The ones i see arround here (Argentina) are way overpriced,
and currently are some major blocks to importation (and dolars) which
make doubt about newegg or tigerdirect.

Although, since it seems like the right way to go, i'll definitely put an eye on it.

About CPU Cooler: My CPU sucks, i know 😀. I wasn't interested to much on
OC by the time i got it. I think it would be nice to pick a Cooler up and keep
it for a future K i5 (hopefully still 1155), but i'm clueless about what to get for
a 690 II basic, and a stable OC on a future i5 xxxx K. Hyper212 seems cute.

Research will be done about this matter.

About Monitor: I have a Samsung "32 UN32EH5000, which it's pretty cool, and
i'm still paying for it 😀. It's say it is 120Hz, but it's not, clearly isn't. I see very
few 120hz arround. Which brand/model do you suggest?

Once again, thank SO much for any opinion, and if you feel like to, keep it coming.

The Hyper 212 EVO is a good cooler, easily supports moderate overclocks on Ivy bridge CPU's.

Dont really keep up with monitors, but I hear the Benq XL2420T is a pretty good 24" 120Hz monitor. Though again, I dont know much about monitors other than the basics, if someone disagrees go with their opinion
