Question What wristwatches do THF members wear ?

Do you still wear a wristwatch (automatic, quartz, smartwatch...) ?

Please share a wrist shot or a comment about watches (with a computer on the background if possible :p)

Here are some of the watches I wore down the years, as someone who works frequently with computer hardware, I prefer to wear my watches on rubber or leather straps to avoid scratches on the steel bracelet, and most of all, to avoid a potential court-circuit.

Have always worn a Citizen EcoDrive for the past 25 years, currently on my second one. (can't be bothered to post a pic).

I like the look of that Seiko watch at the top of this thread -- that's the style I'd choose for myself, don't like anything that looks 'far out' or gimmicky.

Thanks, it's a Seiko watch with sapphire crystal and Titanium case, Titanium is durable and it's the less conductive of all metals, and its 36mm diameter make it the best watch for my job (working frequently inside a computer case).

I have access to a few nice watches, one of my own and one we inherited from my father. But I don't wear one anymore, I don't see point when every smart phone on earth knows the time now.

I used to wear calculator watches in the 1980's and probably late 90's. I don't recall why or when I stopped wearing a watch.

I do like viewing videos on the amazingly complicated and expensive watches that are out there but it gets really silly towards high end when they essentially strapping the mechanism onto a really expensive thing.

I like these but like Pagani, its more of a oh, that looks nice but I can't afford it sort of thing - https://www.jacobandco.com/

I wear a 25+ year old Seiko Sports 50 that was a Fathers' Day gift from my daughter. It has an inexpensive, soft leather band for comfort.

Smart watches (and other devices) are verboten in many areas I need to be. Reliable, accurate, comfortable, and classic style.
