Whats A Good Amd Cpu That will go well with my r9 380 right now i have a amd x4 860k 3.7ghz and my gpu is not working so well with so im looking for a good cpu for it sum that wont bottleneck it like its doing now with the 860k

Solution

The FX 6300 is only a 6 Core CPU. For AMD with an R9 390 you should really be looking for an 8 Core...
I'd recommend the FX 8300 or 8350 if you're on a budget. If not, then get the FX 8370.

NOTE: MSI 970 Gaming MB can't handle the FX 9xxx (220W) CPU's
*Warning: This MB doesn’t support 200W or above CPU

You really won't see any improvement upgrading to another FM2+ AMD CPU. The A10-7870K is about the top FM2+ CPU but won't do much better than your current CPU.

Your best bet is to upgrade to an AM3+ board and FX 8350/8370 or switch over to Intel. Either way your going to need a new MB and CPU.

i know that i got a am3+ mobo and just looking for any amd cpu that well not bottleneck my cpu is the amd 6300 good if i over clock it to 4,1ghz becuse i see people running a 970 with that cpu

The AMD X4 860K is an FM2+ socket, not AM3+. So unless you've already got a different MB you're going to need to buy a new MB to use a 6300 CPU.

i know that i sold my fm2+ and 860k i have a msi 970 gaming mobo now

Except that he has already bought a motherboard :)

Not one good enough for an FX 9xxx CPU.

Then a FX 8350
