That's kind of a hard spot, $100-120 will only get a 18-20'' most times with 8ms response time and 1600x900 resolution; sometimes not even an HDMI port. For $20 more you can get much more features, but up to you. Some sales might be able to give you $20 in savings anyways.

No matter what monitor you are buying, make sure it's a IPS panel, It's better quality. TN panels are cheaper but don't give as good a quality; and at the $100-$120 range you will see many TN panels.
