Whats Better for gaming LCD LED OR LCD MONITORS??

im lookin for a 24- 27 inch monitor for my computer ,im a hardcore gamer and i wanted to know what would be a choice

to go with a LCD LED monitor or just a LCD monitor ? Also is it okay to get a widescreen monitor ?

LED-backlit LCD monitors are more energy efficient, thinner and lighter, and produce better white and black levels compared to CCFL-Backlit LCD monitors.

So if your trying to choose between a LED-Backlit and a CCFL-Backlit monitor I would recommend an LED-Backlit LCD monitor.

Also, yes its okay to get a widescreen monitor. I personally prefer widescreen monitors. I suggest 16:10 ratio if you can afford it.
