What's Different between these two GPU

What's the difference between Nvidia Geforce GT 940m and Nvidia Geforce 940m, i can't find any reference about GT 940m but many says that GT 940m is way more faster than 940m but i did some research and i did find a loptop with GT 940m and another one with 940m the one with GT 940m costs about 780$ while the one with 940m cost about 830$, so what's the difference between these two.

There's only one 940M and the 'GT' designation is meaningless. There must be another reason why the second laptop is more expensive.

I don't know why but some stores they sell both GT 940m and 940m on their seperate products, if it's just a name why would they label it GT instead labeling all their products with only 940m.

Officially, it's the 940M. The 'GT' moniker has been used to describe lesser-powered Nvidia GPUs for a long time now, so it's probably just old habits living on.
