What's faster?

What is faster: Running in 2x with fast writes enabled,using the det. 650 drivers or, running in 4x with fast writes disabled running the det 6.50 drivers. I think fast writes is disabled anyway in these later det drivers so i guess the right answer would be running in 4x with fast writes disabled. I just wasn't sure. By the way this is with a geforce2ultra 64mb ddr board
