Its unfortunate, but I think I have decided im gonna have to sell my new U2711. Im unlucky enough t be one of those that is very sensitive to the AG coating and it just bothers me way to much.
I realize that the dell is the only display with a 1440p resolution and im ok with that (the ACD isnt an option, I need hdmi). I can accept 1080p. My last monitor was a 37" 1080p so anything will have a low pp compare to what im used to. I use my monitor for everything, gaming, web browsing, photo editing, bluray, etc. The two most important things to me are good black levels, and good, vibrant color.
Color accuracy is nice but isn't super important, there are other ways to make sure you have accurate colors in photos, so as long as they aren't totally out of whack its fine. And im the only one using it so as long as the viewing angles aren't abysmal im not to worried about that. Im perfectly fine with either glossy or matte, as long as the ag coating is light.
So, anyone have any suggestions?
