I'm looking to get the fx processors, but they have so many models I don't know which one to choose.
I will be doing some bf3 and skyrim, and basic web browsing and YouTube. I do not want to overclock and I'm not sure if I should choose the 4 core or six core.

I also would like to pair it with this motherboard GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD5 AM3+ AMD 990FX. Is it good? im looking or a black and blue mobo.

The FX 6300 is really good too if you can't afford the 8350. Avoid any 41xx, 61xx, and 81xx series FX processor.

Why would you not want to overclock? You don't need a motherboard that good/expensive if you are never going to overclock.

Currently graphics are integrated into the CPU instead of motherboards. The FX-6300 does not have integrated graphics.

I could be wrong but I'm thinking that the integrated ATI Radeon HD 4250 in that motherboard won't run skyrim or bf3 at a playable fps.

That is correct. The HD4250 is really only acceptable for general purpose computing, and certainly not suitable for high-end gaming. Still, you could install a capable GPU (like the previously mentioned HD7850, 7870, various Nvidia offerings) and get very solid performance.

Are you wanting to use onboard graphics instead of a discrete graphics card?

hold of on your build till january or feburary see what streamroller has to offer plus fx maybe dead motherboard in terms of upgrading

kaveri shows alot of intresting promises hence why i am holding of till next year

For what you want, the FX-6300 will be more than enough. In fact, you don't even need a 990FX motherboard unless you plan on getting an nVidia GPU. The ASRock 970 Pro3 will be more than enough if you're running a Radeon card because it supports full x16/x16 crossfire. On the other hand, if you're completely sold on Gigabyte, just get the GA-990FXA-UD3. That's the board I use with my FX-8350 and twin HD 7970s. It's a perfect gaming board/overclocking board with the only difference being that it only supports 2 video cards. Honestly, very few people even use two, never mind three or four.
