lol i dont understand except the corsairs are better than the g.skill lol does it make a difference for gaming or not?

Either of the Corsair sets you chose are high performance gaming RAM. Agreed you would not notice the difference. The G. Skill I listed is as good a product as the Corsair. I have 5 Gigs. I also own many, many gigs of Corsair XMS. Both are great. I prefer Crucial over both Corsair and G. Skill!

4-4-4-12 to 5-5-5-15 should make a little difference but more for things such as apps or startup rather then gaming.. its been shown that going from like 1gb to 2gb of ram when a game needs 800mb does nothin, same as going from 2gb to 4gb when a game needs just 1.5gb to work properly.

If you dont have enough to support the game what it wants then youll notice performance hit. So having more ram doesnt actuallyrease performance.

The speed of ram is the actual performance. Lower latencies mean more speed, so go with lower latency ram. Chances are if u did both you wouldnt notice any difference, its still there though.
