Question Whats the point of dual GPUs??

Im upgrading my pc and would like to use it for 3d modeling while also using it a lot for gaming and am going to get a 4070 but saw that i can get two 4060s for the same price as one 4070.
What would happen if i got two 4060s instead.
Would i get less or more frames and is dual GPUs mainly for 3D artists/content creators.

None anymore. SLi isn't a thing any more, neither is Crossfire.

Literally the only reason is in industrial applications where the CUDA cores can help accelerate the client workflow.

If you're going to be doing all that, just save up and go with a 4090 24GB because only one slot on the board is going to be x16 unless you buy industrial/server boards that are definitely not consumer friendly and even some software/hardware/drivers won't work.

EDIT: I guess you could, but I personally wouldn't go that route. If the 4090 is out, then a single 4070 is it.
