That kind of error message is followed by a 8 digit number, and sometimes mentions a specific file that caused the problem. These items are also "searchable" at the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
Generally speaking, the error usually means that you have a device in the system with an unsigned, badly written, or imcompatible driver. You'll need to figure out which driver is causing the problem and either upgrade it to a newer version, or if there is no current upgrade, remove the device.
