I love that song. I like but don't love most everything the Cranberries did. A few of their songs are beyond epic though and Zombie is one of them. I grew up in the 80s and The Troubles as they called the Ireland mess was front and center. Bombings and killings in the UK were a weekly if not daily thing on our ( US ) nightly news. In 1994 when I was 20 I went to Europe for a month and even then London was a city that looked like it was ready for war. Cameras EVERYWHERE. I'd never seen anything like it. Every building that could possibly be a target had concrete and steel barriers to keep car bombs out. Zombie was written about those times.

And to be honest I had a crush on Dolores. Not only did she have a great voice but she was a cutie. Irish girls are a weakness. 😛 Damn shame she died so young.

I really like this BAND. They are an all-female band, and the band's name is VIXEN ! They played some pretty good numbers, MELODIC as well. Check them out, if you like FEMALE vocals, drumming and guitar.

Vixen is an American rock band formed in Minnesota in 1980. They achieved commercial success during the late 1980s and early 1990s as part of the Los Angeles, California glam metal scene. They were sometimes described as "the female Bon Jovi.".....
