Sound quality varies on youtube. I generally only use it for live shows and stuff that's not available elsewhere though.

I mostly use Youtube for finding new music, once i find something i like i usually check if it's on Tidal and listen to it there.
There's something in the way Youtube compresses audio that just sound unnatural and wrong, not just lower quality but also different to the original.
