I listen to and enjoy a large range of music.
Blues ,some country, rock, rythem and blues, metal,some jazz, soul, a little pop, and a little classical.
I have a sound system in every room of my home. Even the out- side day room.

I met Elizabeth, Melissa's mother through my brother.
A raven haired beauty, and a friend.

My brother and Randy (her brother) were best friends since early 70's.

Nazareth is really an awesome band. I have heard most of their songs. Hair of the Dog and Razamanaz are my favorite albums.

AXL Rose of GNR fame actually did a cover of one of their songs as well.

BTW, I don't know who is this kid, but he really plays like a pro musician. Awesome DRUM cover of the same song. Just saw this video today.

Repeat....Kind of addicted to this band' s brutal music/sound.

An Extreme Metal band from the UK, Anaal Nathrakh..

I like their brutal musical style, mix of BLACK metal, Grindcore, and Industrial Metal. Ear-shattering music more like. Consecutive minor chords and tremolo picking based on usual black metal chord progressions with relentless, forceful blasts and particularly present over-powerful shrieks.

Well to be honest, with a hybrid sound signature that blends a wide range of styles, Anaal Nathrakh is arguably one of the most distinctive extreme metal projects of the new millennium.

Its complex DNA, composed of several layers ranging from grind to black metal, has become one of the most recognized brands within the metal realm in the past two decades.

The corrosive palette offered by Mick Kenney (aka Irrumator) and vocalist Dave Hunt (aka V.I.T.R.I.O.L) is an interdisciplinary approach to chaos.

Oh btw, Anaal Nathrakh name is taken from the movie Excalibur and means "Serpent's dark Breath". The band's name is pronounced [ˈɛənæl ˈnæθræk] ("ANN- all [as in "shall"] NATH-rak").

It's good you about Britny Fox Glam metal band. Some of their songs are really good. The vocalist sounds similar to the CINDERELLA band's frontman. Late 80s and early 90s were full of Glam Metal bands.

Definitely. I think I remember reading that they got help with their start from Cinderella, though the details escape me.

While I was disappointed to see Dizzy Dean Davidson leave, Tommy Paris had a great sound and fit in well.

Also, double checking on Wikipedia, well, today I learned that they had further lineup changes and a 4th album, in 2003.

This week funk and soul. It depends what mood I am in. Been a musician for 60 years. No real favorite genre.
Tower of Power's "Souled Out"
is spinning digitally this morning.
I see a lot of users could learn something from a music appreciation class or two. Classical ain't bad needer.. Lol!

I love classical, jazz and Many other genres as well. However, the older I get the more I focus on jazz.

I think I beat rock ‘n’ roll too hard when I was young. My dad was right he told me I’d get sick of it and he was totally on point.

I’m not really sick of it but it’s not what I go to when I want to listen to music

slow, hot wind was actually written by one of my favorite people Henry Mancini. My dad used to play his catalog a lot

I loved the Mr. Lucky soundtracks, and I like the television series as well. Good old fashion, action beat them up American show.

When I first saw Pawns and Kings come out, I just quickly listened to the album and didn't give it a real chance. I wasn't very impressed with the album, thinking it was fine but not great overall.
After giving it a more careful listen through in entirely, I think I misjudged it initially. I really like the album, and it flows very well. While not my favorite Alter Bridge album (that goes to either Blackbird or One Day Remains) it is a very solid album. id say 8.5/10
 
I like others here," 60 going on 13" was introduced to a wide range of music growing up.
Classical, Jazz,Blues, Country,Opera,Motown,Rhythm and Blues, Bluegrass,Soul and of course Rock and Roll.
Got my first quadraphonic system at 14 .
Mind blowing experience.
All of my vehicles have systems ,along with every room of my home.
Music is an experience, genre does not matter.
If an artist can make me feel true emotion, or make the hair on my arms prickle with energy and excitement, I'm in.
Not an audiophile, but very picky on the quality of sound. All of my equipment would be considered "old".
Cheeapo systems and mp3s can not play back what the artist recorded, lots of fidelity , warmth and spacial presence are lost.
