My main set of headphones was Beyer Dynamic DT770 pros, but recently I wanted to test out open backs so I bought an affordable pair of Superlux HD681s. I quite like them. The build quality is every bit of what they cost, but the sound quality is of headphones many times the cost of these. Suprisingly for AKG copycats they have actually bass too, so they have a pretty full and reasonably balanced sound profile.

Mine see a little use.
Just when I want to game or listen to music without disturbing the wife when we are both in the computer room/puppy palace.
2 desks with computers, a couple plants, printer stand, and 5 dog/ cat beds. With associated toys/babies/bones.
Otherwise we just crank up whatever system is in that room/rooms.

Very good music taste ! I also love Jane's Addiction, and Blind Melon. Both these bands were pretty good in their early days. The remaining artists are not my cup of tea, but I have heard few songs from Counting Crows band. They are good.

But Jane's Addiction is my favorite. Excellent Psychedelic Rock band.
I saw them in early 89 in Vegas at a "LARGE" Rave before fame. Have liked them ever since.

join me in my trip back to the 1960s when I was a wee lad

as far as liking this kind of music, I accuse my parents—specifically my dad. Anyone who gets the reference I just made gets a special Internet cookie.

my dad always had good stereo equipment, and nice headphones with lots of records of all different genres

at the tender age of six years old, I learned how to handle a high-end turntable properly, and was granted the ability to use the stereo and nobody else with using it and boy did I ever

I was so good at cleaning the needle and washing and cleaning records that my dad made that my job lol but it was worth it for all the good music

This one is a pretty good Black METAL band from Sweden ! SETHERIAL.

Opinions vary widely when it comes to Setherial. Is this one of these groups that actually nobody needs, because many other formations already cover the musical spectrum they offer? Or does the band deliver high quality black metal? The latter is true. Perhaps it's just a strange twist of fate that many metal maniacs support Dark Funeral or Marduk without taking care of Setherial (excluding me though !).

There was a time when Setherial was at the top of the food chain in the black metal genre. Setherial's first album, Nord, is still fondly regarded by many as one of the best black metal albums out there. Unfortunately, Setherial's later releases started to spiral down into an awful, generic mess, reaching its worst with Death Triumphant.

But before Setherial started their descent into mediocrity, they released a masterpiece titled
Lords of the Nightrealm, their sophomore album and follow-up to the still one of a kind, Nord.

The Mournful Sunset of the Forsaken.

Actually we can do one thing. We can try to limit the number of YT videos per page, so that it can load properly without any delay ?

By the way, I just tried to load these forums and especially this last page of my music thread, on my Android Smartphone, with Wifi connection and it loaded properly. Didn't take that much time to load though as compared to a desktop PC.

I just can't stop listening to YNGWIE Malmsteen!! My most favorite Artist of all time though !! Some"instrumental" numbers. My favorite tracks.

Yngwie-Malmsteen-682x1024.jpg

"Far Beyond the Sun". It's a great song but is very VERY difficult to play. General Guitar Tab Tuning: E A D G B E (Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb to be more precise).

Trilogy Suite Op 5.

Here, the scale used is C harmonic minor. In the first passage he also adds the natural minor 7th on the 15th fret of the g string. The second passage uses a pattern frequently used by Yngwie Malmsteen, as far as I recall.

The third passage is the same as the second but adds a right hand tap at the 20th fret as well as legato notes. Excellent !!
