Th early Heavy METAL and Glam Rock days cannot be forgotten. Lots and lots of cool bands spawned in the early/late 80s, 90s !

Among them was QUIET RIOT.

In fact, it was formed by RANDY Rhoads himself (pictured below with band), before his Ozzy adventure ! A lot of the Quiet Riot songs/riffs actually also ended up on Ozzy's albums under different tracks.

Anyway, this studio version of Quiet Riot's song has been nicely remastered.

The official video is kind of a bit silly though (also embedded below), but this heavy metal anthem was a great hit at that time, along with songs like, "Cum on feel the Noize", "Metal Health" and many more classics !

Randy wasn't in this lineup though:

Last week I got a new DAP... 6 hours later it wasn't working. Flashing a Bios onto it bricked it...
Not really amused by that, last weekend was painful... but I have the replacement now and got shop to update bios before they sent it out, I didn't want a repeat. I never really got a chance to listen to it, so that is all I have done since I got it. Helps shop had also charged it up for me.

No complaints so far. I don't have a lack of volume available to me.

I have been using Tidal for about 4 months and every month it thinks my favourite band is Underworld.
They aren't bad but I wouldn't say they fav... I don't really have one.

Its only as I had a small playlist downloaded on my phone that I listened to the most often while out and about... and they may be over represented in it. I didn't want to fill my phones storage up with music... but I will happily do that for above. Need to correct its misunderstanding about bands. It won't have it so easy from now on. I probably listen to more music now its not so complicated to set up. Attaching a USB DAC to PC and then plugging headphones into it takes more time than just plugging in headphones to DAC. Also doesn't restrict PC usage to one thing...

Need to buy a Micro sd card tomorrow, as I would soon use the 64gb of onboard but a 512gb sdcard might take a while.
That is one advantage over phones... and this can go way louder than I need right now, without distorting. And not many phones have balanced outputs or Desktop grade DAC chips in them... but I can't make calls... oh no.

I got a pair of planar magnetic IEM earlier and for the last 9 hours I have been wondering why they sounded so tinny... thought my dap mustn't have enough power to drive them. Which is odd as I had heard they fairly easy to drive.

I just noticed I had a plug in active on my DAP and after turning it off, I have to restart my listening on IEM as they sound much fuller now. Actually have bass. Also meant I didn't have to run them at high volume in Class A mode and High Gain. I have wiggle room.

Not sure what it was doing.

I remember being in that screen a few days ago but I hadn't noticed a sound difference on other IEM. Sure do with it off on new ones. I have removed it completely now, its only showing in bottom area. No accidents.

Sorry for this OT.

But recently I spotted 2-3 spam bots or some weird accounts. IDK, but the join date was quite old, but the account still posted some spam here, as well as one under the PC Gaming forum. :D

Weird part is that these accounts were quite OLD though. 2021 join date ?

There are so many great bands. Growing up around the Atlanta area I met many artists.
Another local band that did not reach world wide success.

Music has always been in my blood. But can not play a single instrument.
It is one of life's necessities.

Those are some great songs/artists !

I was 'personally' influenced by early Metal bands from Tampa, Florida since my childhood days, to say the least. So you guys can now guess why I'm more into heavy and Brutal Metal stuff,

But still nothing can beat the early 80-90s classic bands, regardless of their origin/genre. And I prefer mostly all genres of music, with some exceptions.

The people I've been familiar within the Metal/Rock community for so many years, not many have even heard of this band/artist, ZAZA, Neil Zaza. Highly overlooked.

But I can't really blame anyone here, since this band's early albums were overshadowed by other more popular bands at that time.

Nice melodic ballad btw !

Btw, forgot to mention before that Tampa, Florida only gave birth to the extreme and old-school Death METAL genre. Other forms of Metal were mostly absent in early days. At least when I was in my childhood.

Think bands like Six feet Under, Death (Chuck Schuldiner), Nasty Savage, Deicide, Monstrosity, Morbid Angel, Atheist, Obituary, Malevolent Creation, Hate Eternal, just to name a few.

Anyway, something is odd with the crowd here though. Lineup was pretty solid though, Ozzy with Zakk, Geezer and Randy Castillo.

Did I see few security cops, or some defense personnel also rocking here ?

Live at the Moscow Peace Festival on August 13, 1989.

Ozzy will always be a Rock God!!!!!
After Black Sabbath he had a gift of finding phenomenal young guitarist.
Saw him a few times.
My favorite was with Randy Rhodes in the Fox Theater Atlanta. 3rd row back center from the orchestra pit.
Up close and personal. F...............Amazing.
