Question When fans are plugged in the pc doesn’t turn on

Recently started putting together a pc and at the end stage now. The fans that came with the case I ordered had 4 pin miles connecter ends but there’s only wires going into three of the pins. I can’t find anywhere to plug them in on the pc (I have looked at the psu but there’s no port) so I got an adapter to go from the molex ends of the fans to an end that fits into the psu (I don’t know what this male end of the adapter is but it it has 6 squares as to plug into the psu. The problem is that once I have plugged in my fans with this adapter directly into the psu, when I try turning the pc on the rgb and fans flick for a second but do not turn on nor does the pc. Once the case fans are unplugged however the pc turns on like normal. Any thoughts to how I could fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Please show photos - fans, fan connectors, adapter, how you have connected everything.
It's rather hard to follow your descriptions.

List full specs of your system.

Something is connected wrong. Something is shorting out probably.
Without any photos can't tell anything more.

You have to find original modular cables for your PSU.

Note - modular PSU cables are not compatible between different PSU models.
You have to find cables that are meant specifically for your particular PSU model.

Do not connect random adapters to a modular PSU.
They are NOT meant to go there (even if some might fit).

You are not really listening to the info you got. The fans have standard male 4-pin Molex connectors on their wires, although each uses only two of those possible 4 positions because each fan receives ONLY the +12 VDC and Ground connections. So the fans need to connect to STANDARD female 4-pin Molex outputs from the PSU.

EVERY modular PSU comes with a selection of the right cables for use with that PSU - there are NO "standard" cables for this. So YOUR PSU came with some cables that plug into the PSU's "Peripheral and SATA" sockets and have both 4-pin Molex female and SATA type power output sockets along that cable. You MUST use that cable to get the 4-pin Molex outputs you need for plugging in your fans. Just any old connector with 6 holes in it to fit into the sockets on the PSU will NOT give you the correct ELECTRICAL connections!

IF you cannot find the correct cables for your PSU already in your case or among spare parts, you need to seek out the exact right cables for YOUR PSU. The other possiblility is this: IF you do have unused SATA power output connectors on cables from your PSU already, you can buy an adapter to "convert" a SATA power output to a standard 4-pin female Molex, like this

https://www.amazon.com/LIQUN-Adapter-15-pin-Female-0-66Ft/dp/B01IJGL8PW/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=9VSJK999GQKA&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.3qopnYZNxsYknXT2yAApYlxh-2wZpxVVvj0nHcSqXTUwi774WWKAfrVRtnPRSbODSajKSIKgZU_GYuh3aR7gHVnskRdtZD7hTUYkvtq2cNztDDUPDOmoAD99vROj0pHHehRWNbejVrsnrMz_03STGTMc3uDkdqvLHaYzWFo1qPUwsMGmfjR0FQLOUJwjCUZkghmM_jlnw4kXEK1jm3qrqNEGjm-yPv-u5_G43F_I7iU.huna0u3i-HEjuIZ6ojIIdhRdIKeEudxHu0jVmbpxeX8&dib_tag=se&keywords=sata+to+molex+adapter&qid=1725725265&sprefix=SATA+to+Molex,aps,102&sr=8-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1

Since the fan connectors are "stacking", you need only one such female 4-pin Molex output to connect them all.
