Question When I plug my laptop into my monitor it shows 59hz but my monitor is 75hz how do I fix that?

When I use my Desktop PC it reads at 75hz. So yes it is a 75hz Monitor

What monitor? What cable?

You need to check the manual for the monitor. It’s possible only certain sockets support higher than 59/60Hz.

Make sure the cable is not a standard HDMI which typically are only able to produce 60hz, if not right click on home screen go to display, settings and go to advanced and change to highest setting

Did you go into the system settings and set it to 75 Hz?

HDMI supports 75 Hz just fine.
