I've been waiting ever since they announced the R9 290 in late September. Been without a PC since early 2012, so I'm really eager to buy one soon.
Here in Norway they have begun taking pre-orders for the Gigabyte R9 290X Windforce, but no R9 290. I reckon they'll start selling sometime around beginning of January. Too busy with Christmas presents now anyway...
