Question When playing in fullscreen, second monitor glitches out.

This is an issue I encounter every other day now. I am gaming on a Dell S2716DG and my second monitor is an Asus VP279. I have had both of these monitors working perfectly since last December. The issue presents itself when loading up a game (I've tried multiple different ones). If the game is in fullscreen mode at all, the second monitor will turn off and on rapidly until windowed mode is chosen. The primary monitor will also act very slow. This doesn't happen every time though. Currently to resolve the issue, I have to restart my pc, but I'm hoping to fix the issue.

Have you tried disabling fullscreen optimisation? Choose a game to test, find it's launch executable and go to properties. Check disable fullscreen optimisation.
