[SOLVED] whenever i boot my pc the wireless card stops wroking

Whenever i boot my PC my WIFI card doesn't work and upon closer inspection through change adaptor options i have to "diagnose" it using the automated trouble shooter, then apply a fix as an "admin" it works until next power cycle, is there a fix more permanent that doesn't involve buying a new wireless card

what version of windows?
what are details of the PC?

it could be a driver issue since PC has to be shown where card is each time.

also all my drivers are up to date

Try turning fast startup off - https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-turn-off-fast-startup-windows-10-a.html

it could be the drivers for the wifi card don't like the new power modes in Win 10. Turning fast startup off means PC will actually be off when shut down. The driver might start up normally from this mode

Driver hasn't been updated on Asus website since 2015 so its likely a relabelled win 8 driver.
