Where are all the RX 480?!

I'm looking to upgrade from my r9 380 to an RX 480, but I can't find any in stock in Microcenter, Amazon, eBay, etc.

So, where are they?!

I read they're being "mined" because of the new AMD card; though I don't know what that means.

the rx 580 succeeded the rx480.

they peform rougly the same, the 580 is a bit better.

Miners have basically emptied the shelves. You can't buy an AMD Polaris GPU right now unless you're ready to overpay.

but as far as when stores will stock them, I'd ask a local store with someone you can talk to, and see how long would ordering in advance take. I did this for my cpu and they were very honest in terms of supply and backorders and how long it would take minimum, if not longer.

The "miners" who are holding all the cards for higher values. I won't support that kind of shady market.
