Solution
I would Replace the headset, The motherboard is Fully or Should be Tested before they ship it to you and is a huge pain to replace My Vote is Bad Mic/ headset Pick up a new one from Bestbuy or Test it on another computer to be 100%
Did you try a different Audio Jack on the computer?

I am all out of idea's I would vote replacing the headset as swapping out a motherboard is a huge pain. Or test it on a different Computer to be 100% Sure

I have had to replace 3 headsets within 6 years they do go bad

Yes but I removed my Video Sound Drivers AKA the Video Drivers all together install realtek and new Video drivers without the sound Drivers and the problem was Gone.

You did that first right?

I Would update and reinstall Windows over replacing another motherboard as it is a huge pain, Plus I doubt it is bad hardware as you would have signs like bluescreen or Driver stopped working if you had Hardware Damage the motherboard would be the last thing I Would RMA again or replace Again.

Yes,

So you just got the new motherboard, did you make sure you hooked up the right audio Jacks and front panel jacks, you may want to download the PDF file that shows you where everything plugins and double check it.
