I can tell you one thing, if you have the time, money, effort, patience and can bring your standards down a bit an A+ certification gets you in the back instead of out on the floor.

I've never bothered myself. The tests are like 100 or 200 bucks. Some of my friends have applied and passed, doesn't mean much in my mind as they come to ME for help! :lol:

I think they took them at the local College SAIT, I know one of them did.

The only thing I would recommend is getting the Upgrading and Reparing PCs book by Mueller. It's a great resource for that. You should be able to get the previous year's edition for about $15-20. I got my last two for 14.99 14thEd and 12.99 12thEd.
