Where I can buy i5 2500s

Dear Sir,

Do you think Intel really produced the i5 2500S and put it into market ? As I just cannot find anyone around all market in the world.

I really wish to get one.

Out of curiosity, why do you want to get a 2500s when you can get a 2500k for cheaper..?? IMO, the power saving is not that much.. Moreover, I guess you can even clock down the i5 2500k to 2500s levels..

Don't buy 2500S, you can just buy a 2500 or 2500K and underclock it.

Thank you for your answer. but I think 95W vs 65W still a big different. further more, I don't know whether my MOBO can go for underclock/volt or not. anyway, I don,t want it runs hot.

Finally the XpcGear confirmed to me they don't have i5 2500S to sell and recommend me to buy their i5 2500K. So I think the link you post will not be able to buy a i5 2500S.

However, I already bought one i5 2500S from another Web. base in China and they supply i5 2500S, 2500T, i7 2600S to the OEM to buil Brand desk top computer. It is in tray packing. I confirmed yesterday I have received it.
The price is US$265 for i5 2500S & US$370 for i7 2600S.

They Also got the " T " Series CPU, but the price is the same as " S " .

Could you please post the link from where I can buy 2600s?
I tryed everything, even to write to HP support to buy from them this processor, but I'm still without answer.

At this time the Intel® Core™ i7-2600S is an OEM/tray only part. The part # for it is CM8062300835604. Most likely you would have a very hard time finding it unless company (Dell) had more then they could use.

Hi Christian,

Thank you for your answer. I found that Dell have this model OptiPlex 790 which is with 2600s. Yesterday I was writing to HP because they also have a couple models which use this CPU and they redirect me to their HP Part Store department. Today I'll write to Dell with hope that they will sell me one of them

Unfortunately nobody can sell me this CPU. I'm very disappointed especially form Intel. It's not normal somebody to want to buy something like this and nobody form distributors to have it!!!

Ebay has some decent deals on the I5-2500s, but get the 2500k or 2500 and just underclock it. Its a tad cheaper.
