News Where to Buy AMD's RX 7900 XTX and 7900 XT GPUs

Not here in the UK at least...

The AIB cards are £100+ over MSRP with their custom designs and are bulky, ugly and, probably, unnecessary over the reference design.

So stupid...

At least there are plenty at MSRP using the reference design still. I don't think they'll fly off the shelves over here, considering, specially the XT, is such a weird (bad) card at its MSRP.

Also, personal rant: what the hell was Sapphire thinking with their design. So friggen ugly...

Regards.

It is incredibly disappointing that nothing was learned since 2020. Same poor stock, poor communication, bad websites managing stock allowing bots. This was another paper launch imo.

Damn either people did not get the memo, pre-orders were most of sales or scalpers bought them all.
Last I checked they had bad value since the 50% uplift was not there and was trading blows with the bad value 4080 :/ guess AMD got done in both in CPUs and GPUs this year.

This is why I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a 4080 when I had the opportunity. Yes, I spent more money but I'm not playing the waiting and hoping game any more.

Listen there, companies can't invest in supply or tracking systems to sell even more and/or lower sale margins, they're only allowed to artificially pump stock value and invest in stock buybacks.

What do you think this is, fair business?

Everyone quickly forgot that a RTX 3070 was going for $1,500 for about a year. I had to buy a prebuilt just to get moderately scalped. Although the 4080 is 'bad' in terms of value right now, you never know what the situation will be. It's your money, enjoy your purchase.

Give it a month or two. They will be sitting on the shelves like the 4080s.

If 60% of the shipments are the 7900XT and not the XTX, they will sit. The 7900XT is universally panned as a horrible buy similar to the 4080. Mfg's adding a leading edge tax on top, will only hurt things more. The 7900 series is not what AMD promised.

I pulled the trigger on a 7900 XT from xfx for the 'cheap' price of 8699 DKK (~1245 USD)
The cheapest 4080 i can find is 11200 DKK (~1604 USD)
My take on the price is that they will never come down to pre pandemic ever again, so i might as well rip the bandaid off now and be settled for the hopefully next 10 years.
