Hi,
I have just built my first computer with the following specs:
ASUS Prime X370 Pro mainboard
Ryzen 7 1700 CPU
16GB 2400 RAM
Radeon Pro WX4100 GPU
Samsung 960Pro 512GB SSD
2 x Hitachi Ultrastar 7K3000 HDD
Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 11 750w PSU
Fractal Design Define XL R2 case
Windows 10Pro
Question-
My case comes with 3 case fans installed (1 front, 1 rear, 1 bottom) and it seems i have 3 options regarding where to connect these case fans.
1. The cases’ own fan controller which can connect to the 3 fans, which is then connected to the PSU.
2. The motherboard has two case fan connectors, so i can connect 2 here and the other direct to the PSU.
3. Connect all 3 case fans to the PSU, using the 3 adapter cables that came with the PSU.
What are the pro’s and cons of each option and which is the best option?
