It would take a few seconds or even minutes to realize that it's actually happening and not a trailer for a new Die Hard movie. In real life we're used o seeing car bombs and explosive vests and the like that's on a small scale.
This made everyone aware that everything is in play and all the more reason there is an urgent need to eliminate these people. I'm sorry if some are offended by my description of the need to eliminate these people but when they have no respect for everyone's right to live then they get no respect for the right to live from me.

It was the reactions (or rather lack of) of the people around me who had seen more of the newsflash than I had that made think that there was something not normal going on.
