Whether to buy another GPU or a new one.

So I'm currently running three monitors with a GTX 960 4gb. I can game at high settings and not lag, although I do get the occasional frame stutter. I was wondering if it would be smarter to buy an additional graphics card to run my two smaller monitors and run my main monitor on one gpu. Or would it be better to just buy a new graphics card. I found one on ebay for $100 that's the same model I have. Any help would be great, Thanks!

Solution
1. It would totally depend on your budget
- If $100 was your budget then yes, adding a second card is the best vaue for you, but only of your power supply and cpu are decent ( at least 550 watt or higher )

- if your budget was $200 - $300 you could go for something like a GTX 1060 6GB or maybe even snag a 1070 for not to much more if your lucky on Ebay or amazon.

- If your budget is in the $300 plus bracket, go for either a RX 480/580, GTX 1070/1070 TI or GTX 1080 (Im sure your not looking to fork out this much, but these would truly be able to power your displays with absolutely no problem. i personally recomend a 1070 as it is a beast for how cheap you ca get them now, also 580s are relatively cheap at the moment.

2. it also...

2. it also depends if you use the other monitors for displaying things or if your doing a triple monitor gaming setup, if your doing triple montor, 2 960s just wont cut it to be honest and youd have to push for a higher single card option.

Hope this helps, if you have any further questions just ask. :)
