I am currently only reading reviews on the new Super cards and don't plan on upgrading until later this year because the cards that I consider to be worth upgrading to are a bit overpriced atm.
My current gpu is the Asus gtx 1080 Rog Strix and the main reason I want to upgrade is because I want to play Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Control, both of which are very demanding titles especially at higher resolutions since I have a Asus PG279Q 1440p monitor.
The 2080Ti is probably the best option but the cheapest decent cards I have seen are around 1200 USD (I live in Europe) which imo is waaaay overpriced considering the older XX80Tis were 700 USD or less.
So that leaves the 2080 Super which are between 860 to around 1000 USD here but hopefully will get cheaper later around Christmas.
I guess my question is which 2080 Super is the best and quietest? According to the few reviews I have read so far the MSI Gaming X Trio seems to be one of the better ones or at least according to this review:

What about the Asus 2080 Strix? I haven't been able to find any reviews on either the Strix OC nor Strix Advanced, also whats the difference between the two versions of Strix?
