Hi guys, I am currently building my first 4k gaming rig and have been scoping out the 4K monitor landscape. My search for a 3840x2160 Resolution, 1ms, 60Hz monitor still continues, but I have already found some contenders and I need some help weighing them up.

Which one would you go for? Or do you have a different recommendation in the 28"-32" range, preferably IPS?

As of now, just because of the lack of information on the other monitors, I favor the Samsung model, just because it is confirmed to use a "true 8-bit" panel delivering you very accurate colors. Couldn't find anything about the monitors using the same color depth and maybe they are for all I know, but aren't giving up any info on it yet because these are still bleeding edge monitors and newly announced. I am planning on buying the Samsung model myself once it gets in stock. :)

btw.. These all use TN panels to cut down on costs.. The IPS 4k monitors will cost around $2,000-$3,000. But like I mentioned, the Samsung uses a very high end TN panel, and for the first time ever incorporating 8-bit color into a TN display which will be nice to see. Even most cheap IPS monitors still only use 6-bit+frc dithering. The default size of these budget 4k monitors will only be available in 28", just like how 1440p monitors are only available in 27". Hope this helps! :)
