Hi,

Long time no see! I can't remember the last time I posted here!!! :)

Here is my quick question, which 7600GT 256Megs would be the best buy (Canadian price) :

ASUS (259$)
BFG (289$)
Leadtek (249$)
MSI (249$)

I will probably get the MSI. I'm satified with my current MSI 6600GT (it's not too noisy).

And I don't want to pay a premium for nothing! Is there any good reason why the ASUS and the BFG cards are costier?

well for a couple of bucks more u can get the 7900gt

it will be worth it , and it beats the 7600gt in all benchmarks

289 aint worth i it when u can get something way better for a little bit more money

but if u dont want to buy a 7900gt then i would go with BFG or evga if u can find it

I just got the eVGA 7600gt CO from NCIX.com for $199. It came to 230 after shipping and tax etc. It's a Canadian company based in Vancouver, so yes that is a canadian price! It was on sale, and I think the price right now is about $228.

To me the EVGA seemed like the best deal. It's clocked at 580/1500 which is higher than the BFG I think and it's a lot cheaper.

If all possible get the XFX XXX edition..i own it 590/1600 ...stock speeds. Fastest 7600 GT you'll come across..works great.

*BZZZT* Wrong.

Evga 7600 GT CO Superclocked is 600mhz core/1.56ghz memory. So that would make it faster than your XFX.

Uhhh...dude...40 more Mhz on the mem is going to be better than a pitiful 10 Mhz on the core.

Seriously...were you kidding because that was the stupidest comment i've ever heard. 590/1600 is 10/10 times going to do better than 600/1560.

Well in my opinion I'd pick the EVGA, only because of their step-up program and great customer support. And with step-up, you might have a 7900gt by this summer!
