I wonder which are the most common defects that force consumers to RMA their mobo to the seller.

I also wonder which are the most common defects on a mobo that can be seen by the consumer without advanced testing equipment.

I've come across no onboard sound, bad capacitors, bad ethernet ports, as the most common. Does that help you? I really hope it does!

Stupid users are the most common cause of motherboard RMA.

"I stuck my 9800 Pro in an A8N-SLi and the system won't power up"-idiot sticking an AGP card in a PCI-Express slot even though everything about the board says PCI-Express.

Probably over half the boards sent back are still good!
