[SOLVED] Which B660 is better?

Msi mag b660m mortor ddr4
Gigabyte b660m aurus pro ax ddr4
Planning to get a 12400F in Victoria, just pairing with a mid end chip, does a good mobo matter? Or even a cheapest mobo with no heatink could be fine?

(Upgrades and overclocks arent worth it for intel)

If you want performance like gaming or productivity, then good mobo along with good cooler matters. If you want only media consumption, then cheapp mobos are enough along with stock cooler. 'No heatsink' is never an option.

This would be more reliable choose. I am not fond of Gigabyte last years, in case you want to try check some reviews first. The hack of their support system last year clearly showing that something wrong inside this company.

Neither if you will use a 11400f, they are not compatible.
But, either would be good with a 12400/f which will be a better processor anyway:

Both motherboards look ok to me.
I don't know if there is any feature on one or the other that would make a difference to you.

Ideally I would skip the budget line boards or wait for some reviews to assess proper quality. Those boards have just dropped in the market and should be reviewed any time now.
