[SOLVED] Which cables will support 144Hz @2k

Hi

I am assembling a new PC. I have bought the following monitor and graphics card combination. Which cables support 144Hz @ 2k resolution? (HDMI vs Display Port and which versions)

Monitor: Acer Nitro 27-inch VG271U (Black
Supports: HDMIx2 (v2.0), DisplayPort (v1.2)

GPU: ZOTAC 2070 SUPER AMP Extreme
Supports: DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0b

Please suggest which cable I should purchase.

Any DP 1.2 or higher.

Any HDMI 2.0 or higher can support 1440p @ 144hz. Lower versions will be limited to 75hz.

Since your monitor supports DP, that is the better option as it will have support for a broader range of resolutions and frequencies if you again upgrade at some point.

I've used many of these and they work well. No sense paying for higher cost cables.
