Which Chipset?

Which chipset is most suited for a core 2 system? is it best to go with 680i?

its not really which is best, but which chipset has all the features you want. i picked a 680i because im a nvidia fan boy, i think that an nvidia chipset would run nvidia cards better, i like the features of the 680i chipset (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NForce_600), ect.

so just do a little research, and figure out what you want from the chipset.
