Which CPU is better for BF4

Solution

I would take the i5. Have a look at some benchmarks.

They perform very closely here. Most CPUs seem to be capable.

There have been huge debates about this benchmark that shows the FX 8350 as being ahead of the i5 4670k. Make of it what you will, there are many critics...

There have been huge debates about this benchmark that shows the FX 8350 as being ahead of the i5 4670k. Make of it what you will, there are many critics since it is against most of the other information available. Also note that these benchmarks are in single player and intel holds up better in multiplayer.

The i5 4670k at would perform better than the overclocked 2500k in this test.

So overall I would take the i5 4670k.

Looking at the benchmarks, it seems like CPU doesn't matter much as long as you have a good graphics card and some kind of a recent CPU. Personally I'd get the Core i5, because as a bonus, it runs cooler, needs less energy, and the single threaded performance is noticeably better than AMD CPUs.
