[SOLVED] Which desktop is better

Wanting to get a new computer.

I'll be using it for photoshop, final cut pro and will be playing sims 4 with all pack and future packs.

Would I be better getting 1 or 2

Both work out to be the exact same price

I will be updating the ram to 16gb in the future.

3.8GHz quad-core 7th-generation Intel Core i5 processor
8GB of 2400MHz memory
Radeon Pro 580 with 8GB of video memory
2TB HD

2:

4.2GHz quad-core 7th-generation Intel Core i7 processor
8GB of 2400MHz memory
Radeon Pro 575 with 4GB of video memory
1TB HD

Build 2 with the i7. However the Radeon Pro cards are not exactly meant for gaming.

Thanks So when I look at desktop computer's I should always look for something that has the better processor over other components.

The workload you have mentioned above should suit an i7 over i5. I believe we are talking about a MAC pc here.

Yes it's a Mac, would love to get a gaming PC, but need a Mac for work and can't afford both at the moment.

Also will upgrading the ram from 8gb to 16gb in the future make a big difference? Or is that a waste of Money?

Your kind of workload will definitely benefit from additional memory, specially when multitasking. Some of the softwares you mentioned already recommends a bare minimum of 8gb.
