I'm trying to choose between one of these mostly for PC gaming. I'd like to have the option for "surround sound" but am not convinced either way just yet...

I can get about a year old Astro A40 TR + Mixamp Pro TR for $100 or an open box (barely used) HyperX Cloud Alpha S for $65. Would the Astro be worth the extra $35 and probably a little more wear? I have to decide within 24 hours....

Or ....
new Massdrop x Sennheiser PC37X for $80
new Steelseries arctic 5 for $60.
Also a used Corsair Void Pro for $25
I also like the Sennheiser PC 373D USB, but I haven't seen it for under $100 and that's slightly used.

Basically:
$65 - HyperX Cloud Alpha S (Open box)
$100 - Astro A40 TR + Mixamp Pro TR (Used for a year)
$80 - Massdrop x Sennheiser PC37X for $80
$60 - Steelseries Arctic 5 (New)
$25 - Corsair Void pro (Used)
$100+ - Sennheiser PC 373D USB (new or used not certain)

Right now I am using a very old (10 years?) logtech x530 5.1 surround sound audio set up.
Additional info:
I tend to play strategies (both turn based and RTS) and in depth RPGs and "Shooters". Always heavily modded.

Examples:
Total War series (always modded)
Arma III (modded)
Paradox strategies (modded)
Skyrim (modded)
Fallout IV (modded)

My Budget - Preferably under $100, obviously the less the better.
Country - U.S.
Platform - PC (as mentioned)
Motherboard - ASROCK z390 phantom gaming -CB
Sound Signature - Mostly PC Gaming (as mentioned above)
Open back or closed back - Either
Other gear - Logitech 5.1 x530 10 year old surround sound (as mentioned above)

I have the Steelseries 9X which are essentially the 7s but changed to work on Xbox with no dongles and they’re great. If you can try and find the 7s on sale or used for under 100 they’d be great. Turtle beach 600s are an option too but you’d need a Xbox One Dongle for those though I’d recommend one of those to anyone really as it makes Xbox One controllers work like they do on an Xbox
