Which Gpu for me?

I have a HP Pavilion Elite e9120y PC and it would appear that my graphics card has died. I think this because there is no image and when i turn on the PC the GPU fan does not turn on. If there are any test i can do to check that it is broken (preferably at home).

A friend of mine recommended the R9 390 for a new GPU fro gaming (given mine is broken) and I don't know if it will fit and or if it is compatible. Or if it will game with my current setup and stay cool along with all of the other stuff.

And my final question? How do I install the GPU drivers on the computer if I cannot see the sceen because I do not have the drivers installed yet

When you turn on the PC, is the rest of the PC operatring, such as the case fans? And what are the rest of your specs?

When you put in a new graphics card, you will be able to install drivers.

ok so weird the GPU fan is working and the specs are
cpu=AMD Phenom II X4 910
GPU= amd Radeon HD 4350 graphics card
Im going to check the image

I thought they weren't but they are. but still no image. I know the hdmi cable i am using works.

When was the first time it turned black. Were you in the middle of doing something?

It was probably a year ago. I got it from my grandma when she passed away. I dont now if she was doing something. I know she would leave it on for almost 24/7 playing cafe world on facebook. if that matters

And the cafe was fairly laggy so a fairly large load i think

She had it for most of the time just sitting around. I got it less than a month ago.

Hmm I never heard of Bestek. It could be a failed motherboard for all we know, which actually might be more likely. A new motherboard and CPU could do.
