Question Which gpu should i go with ?

I have started to get into vr and i am wondering which gpu i should go for ? i was thinking about getting a RTX 2080 and was wondering if that would be a good option or if it would be worth going for the 2080 ti ? I currently have a EVGA GTX 1060 sc 6gb and it seems to be under alot of stress and is very loud when playing games in general.

Im not up to date with all the new gpus around and wouldnt mind the option to play 4k at some point in the future too.

For 4K gaming 2080 Ti is the best choice, but i would also upgrade my CPU to get the maximum performance from the card.

Since your build is for ultimate 4K gaming, i would suggest the best of both worlds(CPU & GPU) 9900K/9700K.

Personally i'd go with EVGA, MSI or ASUS.
Note that the service may vary based on the region where you stay, so select respectively.

P.S: I'd wait a couple of months for Zen 2 before making a CPU decision as of now.
