which grafikcard for 4k gaming

hello,
i have bought a new pc and i will play 4k with 60 fps soon. on middle or high settings. dont must be ultra.
which grafikcard i need? is a second amd rx 580 good? or have you better idea?
or should i upgrade?
my pc stats are:
mainboard: asus b250 prime
cpu: i5-7600k
gpu: amd rx 580 8GB
ram: 8GB DDR4
500watt
 


If it's not in budget, then your gonna be stuck. A GTX1080 might push 60fps at 4k in some games.


Also, for a 4k gaming machine you are really gonna struggle.
You should get more ram, 500w PSU might struggle with the 1080/ti. Your system will be a bit imbalanced.

I5 7600k, if overclocked isn't a bad CPU by todays standards. And will drive the 1080/ti. But it's 4 core, and for most AAA (e.g BF1, COD WW2 etc) 4 cores get maxed out quickly and can cause stuttering.

If you just bought this PC, depending on the the costs, it's a 1080p 60hz gaming system, it's not a great buy IMO

 


Even mid-high settings will bring most cards to their knees on demanding titles. GTX 1080 would be the minimum for usable 4k gaming in my opinion.

I would also suggest you upgrading to 16gb of system ram.

What kind of games are you hoping to play at 4k?
