Question Which is a better decision ?

What should i do here ?
I can go right to Best Buy and buy 32g of Corsair Vengeance PRO RGB 3200 CL16 for $170 on friday or i can spend roughly $200 on gskill trident Z or flare X 3200 CL14 and wait for it to be shipped in about a week.

basically would it be better and more worth it to get the 32g of cl16 or the 16g of cl14

i use my pc for competative gaming

ASUS Prime X-470 Pro
Ryzen 5 2600X
Vengeance LPX 2133 16g

basically this lpx is currently choking my CPU so which is the better overall move here ? Please and thanks in advance !

Go to Best Buy.
The difference between CL 16 and 14 at the same speed is very small.
We're talking less than a nanosecond of latency here. Save yourself ~$30.

The difference in performance is small, but the price saved is big.

CL14 is 1.25nS faster, in terms of access latency, as compared to CL16.

How much you value that speed increase is up to you.

what about the fact that its not a b-die kit its a hynix and im planning on running 3200 on a 2600x ive just heard bdie is the way to go but once again is this actually really going to matter or is this just primarilly for enthusiasts and such ?

Enthusiasts.

An unnoticeable(except in benchmarks) nanosecond less latency for $30 more. Up to you if you think that's worth it, but IMO, it's not. That $30 can go towards something else.
