Which is better for gaming ryzen 7 1700 and gtx 1060 or ryzen 5 1400 and gtx 1070

Hello so I am purchasing a new pc for gaming and general stuff, and i dont know which one will perform better in games like -Pubg, battlefield 1, basically all AAA titles. the two pcs are:

ryzen 7 1700 and gtx 1060

or

ryzen 5 1400 and gtx 1070

cant build a pc just looking for a quick answer please. Thanks in advance!

Second one, if you can find 1600 + 1070 will be perfect

8 cores are not that useful for almost all the games. 1400 is good enough and GTX 1070 is way better than 1060.

Unfortunately i cant find a 1600 with a 1070 in my price range Would you still recommend the second one as is?

Yep, 2nd combo is much better than 1st for gaming
