Hello,

The HP H8-1599 computer is better than the Acer Aspire for gaming.
The processor core speed is faster and it has 8 cores wich is way better than 4 cores, for the ram the HP has more ram than the Acer and DDR3 is better than SDRam, hard drive capacity and video card is better.

They both have entry level video cards but I suppose the HP is a little better. I totally disagree with Sprunk95 as far as the CPU the i7 even though it's a quad core way out performs the eight core FX 8350. So that tipps to the acer. They both have DDR3 and both have plenty for gaming although the HP has 1600 MHz and I'd assume the acer has 1333MHz so that goes to the HP's favor.

All that to say IMO get the cheeper of the 2 and save a little cash and replace the video card no matter which one you get. the video card is what is holding both of them back. With a decent card they will both game good. You could drop a few hundred on a high end card and they will both game real good.

I was planning on getting and HD 7750 or 7770.

I was leaning towards the HP even though i know i7 is better.
Im planning on gettting a 7770 or 7750 depending on my left over money.
