That's true for all games. Once you've met the # of cores requirement, faster is better.

Minecraft heavily relies on single core performance so higher the clock speed the better. In recent versions chunk loading of the world was able to be offloaded to spare cores but this is usually limited to about only 4 core. FPS will be 90% dependent on only core.

The I5 looks to be the better choice.

i5 for java edition and i3 for win 10 version right
im using the java edition so ill go for the i5
