Which is better with what I do? 1866/2400/3000MHz RAM?

(My mobo supports nearly all RAM frequencies but caps at 3000MHz)
I have the i7 4790k. I know it's compatible with 1866 & 2400MHz of RAM frequency. However, I don't know if it's compatible with 3000MHz. So help me with that last part.

I plan on getting 2x8 (16GB) of RAM running at any of the frequencies above. But I don't know which one is worth investing. Also my budget is going to be at $150. So if you have experience with any of the following frequencies, and know products that are worth referring... Please give me the links, I'd really appreciate it! 😉

Now here's what I mainly do on my PC:

I generally play DayZ Standalone and other "heavy-set" games while livestreaming and locally recording at the same time with xSplit. With my recordings, I edit/render them using Sony Vegas Pro 12. As a streamer, I indeed have many programs and tabs running at the same time.
Also: I play/store my games on one hard-drive, and use the other one to record/store my stream videos. I also run Quick Sync.

My PC Specs:
(Mobo): MSI Z87 GD65
(GPU): G1 Gigabyte GTX 970 (Super-Clocked)
(CPU): i7 4790K (@ 4.4ghz)
(HDD): Two 1TB HDD's (@ 1200rpm)
(PSU): Corsair TX850 (850W)
(Gaming Monitor Resolution): 1920 x 1080
(Second [non-gaming] Monitor Resolution): 1400 x 1050

Solution
With gaming you'll see a gain with faster sticks, but the other apps the faster the better, With your budget though think about the fastest you'll find is 2400, think the cheapest 2666 or higher I've seen are the Tridents at $175....Under your budget in 2400 the best would be the Team Xtreem 2400/10

very good sticks, tested them for an article and am still playing with them and liking them more and more
